Victoria

Office Administrator

Victoria has spent the last six years in healthcare working hard to make patients feel safe and we’re so glad to have her on the team here at Zen. She went to school for English literature planning to be the next Virginia Woolf with a room of her own. However then she starting volunteering at a local food pantry that she ended up running. Here is where she fell in love with her community and the people in it. This love for people helped her decide she wanted to work in healthcare.

Victoria began her career as an Lna in 2018 for CMC in cardiology. After a few years when she was sidelined due to injury she moved to the administrative side of care and it is here where she found her niche. She began working as a Behavioral Health Coordinator, taking calls, scheduling patients and completing prior authorizations to make sure patients received their medications.

Her favorite part of each job has always been the patient interaction and hearing their stories. She prides herself in being an advocate for patient centered care and making those that come in contact with her feel heard and safe. She despises being made to feel like a number and refuses to treat others that way. Everyone deserves a compassionate person to listen to them and be there with them.

When she’s not working she enjoys watching food history documentaries, writing novels she never intends to publish, and being the cool aunt.

She is the new stepmom to a Russian blue cat named Bella and asks for some support as she has always been a dog person and doesn’t know a thing about cats. But like always she is eager to learn
